The location was convenient for accessing downtown Decatur and Emory University, but it also felt a bit exposed to outside visitors at night. My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The rooms smelled strongly of smoke and the thermostat didn't work too well, but on the bright side, I enjoyed the little living room and a nice view from the window. However, the tobacco smell and dim lighting with low wattage bulbs were quite off-putting.
